Greg - and I'm not buying any more Waves plugins. They force you to pay otherwise, what you initially paid for the plugins is just a waste of money. If you don't have it, then they won't upgrade. They are supposed to upgrade along with everything else IF you have the upgrade plan. Anyway, while he was doing whatever he was doing, I asked him if my old v9 plugins would work now. But I had to pay $200 for half of my plugins that would not upgrade to v10. And the guy did the TeamViewer with me and went through it all. If the problem is related to v9, I think it is safe to assume they are not going to support us. Basically upgrading half my plugins to 10 meant that half of my plugins on V9 will no longer work. Not with the current model, which is crazy. If you pay for the plugin, upgrading them should be free, right?
And I don't understand about having to pay to upgrade. Greg54 I'm still waiting for Waves to get back to me. I tried that method previously but also didn't work for me personally. Having to download a 3GIG file to load a few megs worth of files is absurd. Had to re-grab my licenses via Waves Central. I suppose I could’ve done it through Waves Central.
It has every legacy plug you just need the license to activate it on your machine. I reinstalled my missing V9 plugs with the offline installer I downloaded here. The V10 plugs installed and are working fine. Therefore, all my version nine plug-ins disappeared. What I didn’t realize was that not all my version nine plug-ins qualified to be upgraded to version 10 plug-ins. After I upgraded my qualifying plug-ins to version 10, I mistakenly made the choice to remove all my version nine plug-ins.
Went through this V9 to V10 upgrade with a glitch that I solved.
